The 1000 Women movement is a powerful community and women-driven initiative that supports learners at NorQuest College in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada by removing financial and social barriers to education.
The movement began 15 years ago with the idea that women-led philanthropy can create transformational change. It has since grown into a network of countless of donors, partners, and champions—women and allies—committed to lifting up learners and families.
100% of donations go directly to NorQuest learners in the form of scholarships and bursaries, emergency financial support, access to essential supplies, technology, childcare and programming that helps learners build confidence, skills, and stability.

Our gold vermeil styles feature 18k solid gold layered over 925 sterling silver with a thickness of at least 2.5 microns. That means a finish that is five times thicker than standard gold plating and designed to last longer. We complete each piece with a protective, hypoallergenic coating to help maintain its shine, extend the life of the plating, and reduce tarnish.
All of our pieces are designed for comfort and crafted to last. We use only precious metals, genuine gemstones, and lab-grown ethical diamonds. Our jewelry is nickel and lead free, and we never use brass, base metals, or synthetic stones, making our pieces a thoughtful choice for those with metal sensitivities.
