This ring includes a 6mm size focal polki sliced diamond and 12 princess raw cut diamonds around it along with a 2mm wide simple gold band.
Polki diamonds are one of the oldest forms of cut diamonds, originating in India long before Western cutting methods. They often retain their original rough form and have a glorious natural finish. They are currently used mainly for traditional Indian wedding jewelry and are generally cut to follow the original rough stone so no two are alike imparting a distinctiveness that makes each piece unique.
