Having a soft spot for coin pendants, Tori wanted to create one with special meaning. Coin necklaces got the name “sweetheart jewelry” from the 1800s when soldiers would bring coins, aka "love tokens" back to their beloveds. Of course, we couldn’t help but include a subtle nod to the original olive leaf details, a symbol of friendship and strength, that you coveted in our original launch.
This necklace is made of 18K heavy gold plated vermeil over solid 925 sterling silver. It is also nickel-free and perfect for those with sensitive skin and features a tight looped flat cable chain with loops at 16, 18, or 20" so you can adjust the length according to your needs. The coin measures 18mm in diameter and is 2 mm thick. Wear it on its own or layered with another necklace.
