Having soft spot for coin pendants, Tori wanted to create one with special meaning. Coin necklaces got the name “sweetheart jewelry” from the 1800s when soldiers would bring coins, aka "love tokens" back to their beloveds. Of course, we couldn’t help but include a subtle nod to the original olive leaf details, a symbol of friendship and strength, that you coveted in our original launch.
This pendant is made of 18K heavy gold plated vermeil over solid 925 sterling silver. The coin measures 18mm in diameter and is 2 mm thick. It is also nickel-free and perfect for those with sensitive skin.

Had wanted the full necklace but as it was sold out I opted to buy the token pendant separately to use on an existing chain I have. During a flash sale a few weeks ago, I purchased the token (and a few other pieces) and I’m so glad I did! The quality is fantastic, a rich and shiny gold plate vermeil over sterling silver, and the craftsmanship is evident.
